Micro White Aesthetic Super Elastic Nickel Titanium Archwire

The goal was to produce an aesthetically pleasing archwire without compromising the actual size or functionality of the wire itself. That goal was acheived through the utilization of a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) coating that is approximately .0015” thick and is applied only to the labial surface of the archwire that is visible. The PTFE coating is resistant to staining from harsh substances such as coffee and juice while at the same time being impervious to cracking, flaking, chipping or peeling when, for example, a loop is applied or the archwire is deformed in any way.
