BETA TITANIUM ARCHWIRE

This beta titanium material produces forces which are approximately 40% stronger than
WIRE PRODUCTS
that of nickel titanium, but have only 42% of the stiffness of stainless steel. The tensile
strength of the material is in the range of 200,000 psi. Longer than other niti arches also.
Stiffness and Resiliency: These properties allow you to apply larger wire sizes earlier in
the treatment of the patient to increase your efficiency and eliminate the need for frequent
patient appointments.
Natural
Form Pain Reduction: Because of the lighter forces applied by these wires, in comparison to
the forces found in stainless steel, these archwires are an excellent choice for patients with
a low pain tolerance.
