Activated Expander

The Leaf Expander® is an evolution in design from the spring-loaded expander. Featuring
a small body, it is equipped with either two or three NICKEL TITANIUM Memoria® leaf
springs that allow the release of calibrated and continuous forces, thus taking the worry
and cooperation out of the hands of the parents and patient. The lighter more continuous
force is also less painful for the patient. Re-loading is needed when the two opposing leaf
Before expansion springs move apart: the intraoral activation, which must be done in the office, will put the EXPANSION SCREWS
After expansion springs in contact again thus allowing the release of the selected force. The Leaf Expander®
is also supplied with a Smart Key to facilitate the endoral activation by the professional.
